Le bateau ivre (2014)
This series, Le bateau ivre, relates to Rimbaud’s poem. The poem makes at least 24 references to color and I couldn’t resist the urge to explore some of these color references although without attempting a literal evocation of them. I gave these studies the names of maritime places in Chile (my country of origin) so Rimbaud’s boat visits really exotic places.
